The project includes a three-level terminal facility building, refurbishment of the existing Airside Terminal concourses, a six-story garage connected to the Landside Terminal addition by two pedestrian bridges, a rental car facility, paved lots, and a new roadway system to support the new terminal complex.
The construction management assignment will include collaboration with the Program Director and Program Management Office to execute overall construction management, design management, change management, data management, risk management, pre-construction phase services, and construction phase administrative services
RIG Consulting Inc. working as a subconsultant is providing Construction Inspection services on the new roadway system for the complex through a Transportation Construction Inspector – 3 and a Transportation Construction Inspector – 2.
As part of the project, the Airport also removed glycol-based pre-conditioned air units and their associated equipment from all air boarding bridges and replaced them with new direct expansion (DX) units in Concourses B, C and D.
RIG provided a Mechanical Field Superintendent for this task, who tracked contractor progress, reviewed submissions and RFIs, documented daily progress through photos and reports, and worked with the entire construction team to maintain the project’s schedule.
